Pewter Label for Bottles

More informationGet a quote

Metaconcept designs and manufactures bare or adhesive tin ribbons, in particular for the manufacture of your labels. They ensure maximum volume and relief on your product packaging, recalling the codes of silversmithing. Pewter is a noble and authentic material, with a strong visual impact for your brand and sublimated packaging.

Design and Creation of Embossed Labels

Pewter self-adhesive labels give your product a distinctive and recognisable look, with a strong and engaging visual impact. They also make it easier for customers to identify the contents of your packaging. Pewter decorations are in great demand in many sectors, including cosmetics, wines, champagnes and spirits, souvenirs, etc.

Pewter self-adhesive labels are usually made from a rolled pewter sheet (ribbon) that is coated with adhesive on one side. This can then be die-cut into the desired shape and printed according to your design specifications and means of production.

Metaconcept designs and manufactures made-to-measure tin ribbons from 20µ to 7mm thick and up to 500mm wide. So you can give free rein to your imagination for your future labels: natural pewter finish, with full metallization and with metallization on the relief, or offset printing or embossing.

Our ribbons will give your labels a distinctive, high-quality look, enhancing your packaging or that of your customers.

Features

Metaconcept uses high-quality tin, a flexible metal that adapts to complex surfaces.

The main alloys used in laminates are tin-lead, tin-copper-antimony and pure tin. We can also offer lead-silver alloys.

Foil

The standard alloy used to manufacture tin foil is Sn98 – Sb1 – Cu1 or Sn100. The foils referred to below are kept in permanent stock. They are packaged in wooden crates to protect them from scratches. They comply with standard EN 611-1: 1995. They are also available in pure tin.

Rolls or Ribbons

Metaconcept offers different types of rolled products in the form of ribbons delivered in reels. Alloys with a high lead content can be rolled up to 0.125 mm. Alloys with a high tin content can be rolled to a thickness of 20µ mm. The maximum weight of a roll generally varies from 25 to 100 kg, depending on the alloy. The standard maximum width is 500 mm.

Discs

Our disc cutting options are linked to the thickness of the sheet as shown below:

  • Available diameters: from 50 mm to 900 mm.
  • Available thicknesses: from 0.5 mm to 3 mm.
